Where to find the most colourful blossoms in Victoria
Spring season is full of transformation and us Melburnians wait for Spring as we head to warmer days to enjoy Flower shows, festival spring up in the regional countryside.
Spring for me is all about spending time with blossoms and with nature and this year’s Spring was no different too.
So this year, I thought to take you to a virtual tour of the colourful blossoms across Victoria, this spring.
If you were thinking where to head this weekend to chase these blossoms? You’re in the right place.
Do you know the Tulip Festival marks the descendants of the Turkish in Melbourne? This year’s Tulip Festival is extra special as 50 years of Turkish migration to Australia.
Tulip festival is also celebrated across the world in USA, Norway, Canada and England in Springtime.
I have been waiting for the warmer weather to set in to visit two of my favourite places.
#Tesselaar Tulip Festival
The third year in the row, I visited the Tesselaar Tulip Festival, in the Yarra Valley at the Dandenong ranges in Victoria. The Dandenong ranges get decked up with these beautiful colourful blossoms, which is a cynosure of all eyes.
The Silvan’s Tulip Farms transforms into a Floral wonderland for 4 weeks in Victoria.
Needless to say, I am mesmerised every year with the amazing colours of the Tulips and this makes me revisit this Floral Festival every year.
Just an hour’s drive from Melbourne, the Yarra Valley at the Dandenong Ranges is on my weekend list almost every month. With the ongoing school holidays in Melbourne, this place becomes an absolute favourite place among the toddlers.
#Cheery Blossoms
The dreamy Malus Floribunda walk in the French garden is a must do this spring in Victoria. Spring looks completely magical at the Alowyn Gardens at the Yarra Glen region at Yarra Valley, Victoria.
