The Great ocean road is one of the most visited places in Victoria and there many who missed placing there in their itinerary. But one cant does much of justice by a road trip.

After you have covered the Airley Inlet lighthouse, Lorne is just another 45 mins by road. This scenic drive takes you to another beautiful coastal town on the Ocean road called Lorne and is also offers a popular surfing point to the tourists.

Laid back in nature, this seaside town offers something for everyone who visits here.

#Lorne Beach

Lorne beach is a surfers paradise, no matter what season you visit this coastal town, there won’t be any dearth of surfers here. Patrolled during the summer times, this beach is just perfect for the kids and families with plenty of options for everyone.

Want a spa or a sauna or a relaxing sunny escapade on the beach? Let the kids do their thing on the trampoline or on the sand while you enjoy the food or the spa.

#Erskine Falls

One of the most popular lookout and a scenic point on the Otway National Park is the Erskine Falls. A 5 mins walk from the car park, takes you the cascading view of this 30 feet long waterfall.

Want to get up and close to the Erskine Falls? Well that’s possible too.

A bit if hike that’s rewarding as the views from the bottom of the falls is equally magnificent.

Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry a warm jacket as the temperatures are much lower in the Otway National Park.

Where to eat?

White sands, buzzing markets and fresh air, that too when its accompanies by plenty of eatery options. Wow, doesn’t it sound like a dream place?

The cafes offer the sea view with a relaxed mood to unwind with the cuisine.

Victoria being one of the coffee hubs in Australia, you can find good coffee at every corner of the state.

Well, I won’t deny that I loved a day out at Lorne, exploring the unknown and bringing to you this beautiful coastal town on the Great Ocean road and perched in the Otway National Park.
