Autumn/Winter’21:Fashion Edit

Ushering Melbourne winter with some key takeaway trends from this year’s AAFW in Sydney.

Here are the top 8 AW’21 Trends that you would love to follow

Trench Coat Style

The classic Block colour Trench coat is my pick for winter. Wear them as a Dress or style it over a simple denim to keep up with you’re layering game.

Check how i styled this classic Red Trench Coat from Portman, Australia with some Boho Boots to say goodbye to Autumn.

Relaxed Suiting

Time to shine in those relaxed tailored Suits and Blazers. Extending beyond those 9 to 5 schedules or beyond those business look, you can still carry forward this look for Melbourne winter.

Personally, I would love to experiment with block colours with my suits and pants. My favourite colors are Hot pink and yellow. Stand out in the crowd with a coordinated set of Suit and Blazer this winter.

Colours like Hot pink and yellow would be my choice to pull off this season, black always remain the year around favourite.

Leather Love

Leathers are an obvious choice for winter, but this material comes with greater style benefits. You have always worn a leather jacket for its ominous style quotient, a well fitted leather dress or a skirt adds more glam to an otherwise boring winter outfit.

A leather dress screams glam by itself and does not need any additional colours on the top. Try choosing colours like red leather, blue leather or even tan leather to add variety to your wardrobe.

Leather pants are a total chic, pair them with your casual pullovers or your T-shirts and hoodies to create your own unique look this winter.

Casual Comfort

What’s Casual comfort Winter style ?

  • black jeans, a grey chunky knit sweater, white sneakers and a black leather jacket.
  • black knee-length boots, jeans, a white chunky knit sweater and a white coat.
  • black knit, leather leggings, heels, mittens and a cozy beanie.
  • black leggings, a plaid poncho, a cowl.

Winter allows you to experiment with various styles, owing to the layering game.

Skirts are a great way to enhance your Winter Wardrobe Game

Prints on Prints

Clashing prints, prints on prints, they make you stand out and helps you to re-use your existing clothing too.

I would love to style my animal prints along specially the skirts that I have to keep away all through the winter. Re-purpose and re-wear those Summer outfits to create a layered look this winter.

Neutrals and Beyond

How about carrying neutrals beyond autumn? Those neutral dresses/ skirts/ Pants. Neutrals can be paired well with block colour coats a trench coat.

Are you a neutral pallet person? I am not but this colour offers a lot of styling opportunities.
